The winner of the Labs of Awareness Book Prize will be announced in early 2026

Awarded every five years, the Labs of Awareness Book Prize honors a work that deepens our understanding of the mystery of consciousness. Both fiction and nonfiction titles are eligible, as we believe that — when it comes to exploring consciousness — the distinction between genres is largely artificial. The $20,000 prize is given to a book published within the five years preceding the award date.
